INC ZAP Landlord Requirements and Tenants’ Rights
Come learn about Denver’s new landlord license requirement needed for ANY rental in the city, short or long term, and about the expanded tenants’ rights in the state. Landlord License Requirement- If you own an apartment building, duplex or even a single-family residence in Denver and rent it out long term (more than 30+ consecutive days), you need a residential rental license starting in 2024. You will learn about everything you need to do to prepare all the documents, how and where to get an inspection, what the application looks like and what the fees are. Make sure you are compliant before 2024 arrives! Short Term Rental License- Renting out your primary residence on Airbnb or VRBO? A short-term rental is one that is rented for 1 to 29 days and also requires a license in Denver. There have been some updates to the requirements for a short-term rental license, come learn all about all the changes and what you need to do to be compliant.
