The March 2019 INC Zoning and Planning meeting featured these speakers and topics: Jeff Hirt of Community Planning and Development about changes to the General Plan Development process; Laura Brudzinski, the Director of Housing Programs and Planning in the Office of Economic Development, discussed how affordable housing will be considered in future GDPs and Dre Chiriboga-Flor, a senior housing organizer for 9 to 5, reviewed key issues they are working on at the state level.
The February 2019 INC-ZAP meeting featured a presentation about opportunity zones from Denver’s Chief Economist, an update on CPD’s deliberations on INC’s request for a delay in final consideration of Blueprint Denver and Comprehensive Plan 2040, and committee members discussed rationale for the requested delay.
