INC ZAP March 2022 Meeting

9:30 am — Advancing Equity in Rezoning
Sarah Cawrse and Liz Weigle from Community Planning & Development (CPD) will present to ZAP about this CPD-led initiative regarding REzoning. Please peruse some of the work underway at city website. Ways to sign up to participate in focus groups can be found at this link, as well as recordings of task force meetings and the entire Project Archive.
10:30 am — Update from Ean on city-led initiative Expanding Housing Affordability through Market Rate Tools. Public comment period ended March 14, 2022 and this will go to Planning Board on April 6th. Ean sits on the Task Force for the EHA effort and can update us on recent changes to the proposed ordinance and answer questions.
After EHA discussion, there will be time for INC members to raise zoning/planning questions.
Key Dates for Written Comments
Planning Board public hearing (4/6) – Comments for inclusion into the staff report: by 3/28 at 5 pm 2. Comments for forwarding to Planning Board: by 4/6 at noon
City Council’s Land Use, Transportation and Infrastructure Committee meeting (4/26) – Comments for inclusion into the staff report: by 4/21 at noon
Denver City Council public hearing (6/6) – Comments for inclusion into the staff report: by 6/2 at noon. After that deadline, comments may be emailed to dencc@denvergov.org until 3 pm the day of the hearing.
