Our new INC Safety Committee met on Thursday, 3/24 at 3840 York St. in DPD Dist. 2.  Thank you, Anthony Thomas, for finding a location for our meeting. At this, our first meeting, we discussed what we could do to support INC and our neighborhood RNOs. We also realized that we need to write a new Mission Statement for our committee.

In the future we will be holding a regular meeting at 6:00 on the fourth Tuesday of each month.  We plan to move our meeting around the city so that we can address the different issues that each area faces.  These meetings will be open not only to our committee and INC representatives but also to members of our RNOs and any other person who is interested in public safety issues. At our meetings we will be talking to the Commander of that location’s district to learn what specific issues they are facing.  We will also be asking various agencies to join us at each meeting to give a presentation on their particular field.
