If you haven’t heard, Denver Parks and Recreation (DPR) has a plan to expand the sale and service of alcohol in ALL Denver parks, “in an effort to simplify how rules and regulations are enforced at DPR facilities across the city.”
DPR has also posted a survey. Please take it by April 20, 2018

Arrive by drone and let it hover. Denver Visitor fellow exclaimed reassuringly that everything Mr. Superfly is planning is Us—Denver. Not You? But think of your fat wallet from the Economic Impact-Ahh. Or write letters, urge other “improvements” or—move on along to? Gotta love Colorado. Still, we begin to see why the Governor is thinking of moving on to the peace and quiet of Washington, D.C

The second is a forum concerning the Park Hill Golf Course, a once in a lifetime opportunity for Denver to purchase 155 acres from the Clayton Foundation.
A policy change planned by DPR could make the rules for festival park use apply to ALL parks, which would mean all parks in the system will have the same alcohol regulations, some of which now allow greater use only in festival parks. Please read the proposed revisions carefully and distribute to your respective RNOs and friends. The city’s parks department is circulating a proposal for significant changes to alcohol policy in Parks. Laura Morales and Fred Weiss will attend our April 17 meeting to discuss. Of note: The INC PARC meeting is considered to be one of the 4 public meetings for outreach to the community.
School children in and around ESG neighborhoods are subjected to toxic conditions their fellow students in other parts of Denver are lucky to escape. This will be our focus at the next Delegate Meeting located at Holy Transfiguration of Christ Cathedral located at 349 East 47th Ave. 80216 on April 14th
