PUBLIC MEETINGS ON SHORT-TERM RENTALS
The City of Denver is currently developing a framework to license and regulate short-term rentals (STRs), and we want to hear from you.
Staff from Excise and Licenses and Community Planning and Development—in partnership with Councilwoman Mary Beth Susman—will be hosting four town hall meetings and presenting to Denver’s Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation’s Zoning and Planning Committee to outline the proposed STR licensing framework, answer questions and get feedback from the community.
You are invited to attend any of the following public events:
- Presentation to Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation Zoning and Planning Committee; January 23, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. – 1201 Williams Street (19th Floor)
- Community Town Hall; February 3, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – South High School, 1700 East Louisiana Avenue
- Community Town Hall; February 11, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – East High School, 1600 City Park Esplanade
- Community Town Hall; February 17, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – North High School, 2960 Speer Boulevard
- Community Town Hall; February 25, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – Christ Church United Methodist, 690 Colorado Boulevard
A one-page information sheet on the proposed framework is attached. In the coming days, Excise and Licenses will also launch a webpage that will have complete information on short-term rentals (residential properties rented out for fewer than 30 days at a time) and on the process for public review of the proposed licensing framework for STRs.
