Erica presented the proposed Denver Ordinance to allow Common Consumption Areas within Denver. This ordinance would allow liquor to be carried from licensed premises into Common Consumption Areas defined by the owners of the premises (who form an association for that purpose.) These areas could include both private property and public right-of-ways such as alleys, streets and sidewalks. The Mayor and industry have been working with Excise & Licenses throughout 2018.
