INC Resolution on Endorsing Greener Denver Platform
THE RESOLUTION:
The Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation Climate and Sustainability Committee recommends that the Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation join in supporting the citizen-led Greener Denver Platform. The Platform contains recommendations on ways to combat climate issues for the incoming Mayor, CIty Council and other elected officials through a lens of equity and environmental justice. These are primarily based on existing city plans specifically relating to the following 8 areas:
- Air Quality
- Climate Mitigation and Adaptation
- Energy
- Food
- Land Use and Transit
- Parks, Open Space, and Biodiversity
- Waste
- Water
