Message from the President-August
Fellow Denver Neighbors:
At our July meeting, Barry Burch, Director of Boards and Commissions City and County of Denver, spoke on the need for citizens to apply for the recurring vacancies on the many boards and commissions that constantly need filling.
Our mission, as set down in the Bylaws for the organization state: To advocate for Denver citizens by bringing together, informing and empowering Denver neighborhood organizations to actively engage in addressing city issues.
Along with that, (INC Bylaws) Purpose, Article IV (f) states Take an active roll in working with those in city government and others in shaping Denver’s future. In the best interests of our citizens, we must work closely with City entities to fulfill our mission and promise to those we represent, namely all the residents of Denver. Working together, INC and the City of Denver, can make our city the place we all want it to be.
INC also has a need to fill committees for both Safety and Education and also new committees coming up such as Sustainability.

President, Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation
