INC Zoning & Planning Meeting

AGENDA:
- Discussion with Julius Zsako about his new book – DEFACING AMERICA – The Rise of Graffiti Vandalism.
- Discussion with Excise and Licenses Director Tom Downey about new policies and procedures about liquor and cabaret licenses and the status of city’s plan for recreational marijuana regulation.
- Discussion with Tina Axelrad and Michelle Pyle of Community Planning and Development of upcoming text amendment to the zoning code, which will cover a large number of topics.
- Discussion of how INC can respond to recent survey of homeless individuals about effects of “camping ban” ordinance (presented at April 27 ZAP meeting).
- Any other business.

Mission Statement for INC Zoning and Planning Committee
The mission of the INC Zoning and Planning Committee is to learn about zoning, planning, licensing and urban design issues and processes in Denver, including sidewalks and tree lawns; to assist neighborhood groups in dealing with such matters; and to provide advocacy, recommendations and comments to city government, with emphasis on the need for and importance of involvement of neighbors and neighborhood organizations in city issues.
