1836    Loretta Kohler called the meeting to order.

1841    April minutes were approved, with 1 abstention.

1846    Greg Sorenson gave a Treasury Update.

1850    COMMITTEE UPDATES:

        Survey Committee

• Judy Baxter gave an update on the progress they have made.

        Zoning and Planning Committee

• Christine O’connor, previewed upcoming topics.

• ADU’S and Metro Districts.

Climate and Sustainability  Committee

• Tree Planting

• Heat Islands

• Lack of Trees

• Next meeting will be May 26, 2022 on zoom

        Transportation Committee

• Joe Noble gave an update on future topics.

• Sidewalk issues in the community.

• WE are collecting signatures for the ballot issue.

• Fee for Service is the issue.

1911        DENVER DECIDES: DISCUSSED

• Partnering with the league of women voters.

• Should the INC participate after the primaries?

• Jane Potts will keep us updated.

1923        SATURDAY’S MEETING:

• The Auditor’s Office will be in attendance.

• Questions and Answers

• City Councilwoman Debbie Ortega/ Diane Degettes Office.

• Lamone Noles will be given 20 minutes for a presentation.

• Jane Potts – Denver Public Schools update.

• Please send a copy of the agenda to Maggie before Wednesday.

• There will be a Labor Representative.

• Lastly there will be time for questions for the Auditor.

• Excise and Licensing

• Update on Short Term Rentals.

• Accessory Dwelling Units.

                JULY

• Heat Islands ( Park Hill).

• The effects of heat islands throughout Denver.

• Trust and Public Limits.

• What should our approach be?

                AUGUST

• Refugee Forum- Parry Burnap.

        SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER MEETINGS

• Suggestion that we form committees to work on topics for upcoming meetings.

        JUDY BAXTER -SURVEY

• Working on Fourth Draft.

• Goal is to reduce the survey to 10 minutes.

• Send reminders to social media.

• INC membership mailing.

• Launch survey by next month.
