Harold Brewer, Sr. passed way September 26, 2017. After retirement, he pursued his passion to support the great City of Denver and his community. INC awarded him a Neighborhood Star in 2005 for his services which included his service as a member of the Comprehensive Planning and Advisory Steering Committee for the City and County of Denver, Vice President of the North City Park Civic Association and INC delegate, and Community Liaison for District 8. Additionally, he served on the Police Citizen Advisory council the Appreciate Policy Board, the Colorado Community Policing Board and the Citizen Advisory Board District 2. Brewer also was a community representative for various city efforts, including the “Keep Denver Beautiful” program, the light rail development and the Mayor’s Neighborhood Citizen Bond Task Force.
