Denver’s Community Awareness Program "Domestic Terrorism & Active Shooter Awareness"
This program provides individuals with the basic tools they need to recognize and report suspicious activity in order to prevent terrorist and criminal activity in their own communities. This session will introduce the active shooter awareness video “Run, Hide, Fight” in order to discuss actions to take when confronted with a shooting incident.
In keeping with the Department of Homeland Security’s “If You See Something, Say Something” initiative, this program is guided by the principle that everyone has a role to play in keeping our communities safe, while emphasizing a behavioral based approach. This training is open to everyone. We will accept up to 50 participants.
