● How can we, down the road, be a resource for member RNOs

Transportation Plan / Platform – presented by Joel & Geneva
● Overview: This is a set of positions that are the position of the INC (voted for).
● Modeled after the ZAP platform. Had a set of sub-committees and volunteers were the members with the most longevity.
● This document is the result of lots of conversations and was recommended unanimously from the transportation committee.
● Ray speaks in support of the platform.
● Question: Using the word density in paragraph 2.6 is a “buzz word”. Density is not well defined.
Recommend rewording so it doesn’t sound like we endorse density
● Question: For TMA – are these general through non-profits?
○ No need for a tax form
○ Answer – Funding is usually done to get people to drive less. This has been a great way for RNOs to get their needs for alternate forms of transportation met by the city.
○ This is something that we could articulate more clearly in this platform.
● Jane & Margie – Kudos on a good job on putting this platform together
● Question: Is multi-modal a well defined term?
○ Answer: It’s widely used and we mean it by its surface definition.
○ Most alternate transportation is multi-modal.
○ We are asking CDOT to include multi-modal transportation when redesigning streets.
● Recommendation: Put this up on the website. Put it up on Facebook. Send it out as a voting matter in our next newsletter.
● Could we have a table of contents to go along with the large document. The idea of platforms is a great idea and Kathleen Wells should be recognized for coming up with the idea.
