[DENVER, 5/12/2024] – Denver Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation (INC) is pleased to announce its upcoming event, “The Art of Neighborhood Organizing,” scheduled for June 22nd, from 1:30 to 6:00 pm. The engagement aims to foster community connections and provide valuable insights into effective neighborhood organizing strategies. Hosted at nuRoot Studios (2942 Welton St) followed by our Neighborhood Block Party and Artfest at Spangalang Brewery (2736 Welton St).

The event will kick off at nuRoot Studios with a Neighborhood Organizing 101 Lab from 1:30 to 3:30 pm (limit 40). Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and connect with fellow neighbors from across the city while participating in workshops designed to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to organize their neighborhoods effectively. Space is limited so early registration for this part of the event is highly recommended!

During the first part of the afternoon, participants will delve into topics such as building a strong neighborhood organization and addressing community concerns. We will share best practices and provide practical guidance and resources to empower attendees in their community engagement efforts.

Following the workshops, the event will continue a few doors down with a Neighborhood Block Party and Artfest from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at Spangalang Brewery. Attendees can look forward to a vibrant celebration of community spirit, featuring art showcases, live performances, and opportunities to connect more with neighbors from across Denver.

Light snacks and a complimentary drink will be provided by INC, offering attendees the chance to relax and enjoy the festivities while mingling with neighbors from diverse backgrounds.
