INTER NEIGHBORHOOD COOPERATION
Community Meeting
Saturday, May 13th, 2023: 9:00 a.m.
Regis University Campus, 3333 Regis Blvd
Claver Hall, Room 309 – location pin
and on Zoom – Registration Link
AGENDA:
9:00 Determination of Quorum
Land and Equity Acknowledgement:
Land Acknowledgement: As residents of Colorado, we stand on the unceded ancestral lands of the Arapaho, Cheyenne, Lakota, and Ute nations and peoples. These lands were also a site of trade, gathering, and healing for numerous other Indigenous tribes.
We recognize Native and Indigenous peoples as the original stewards of this land, and our presence among their descendants who still dwell within it. We pay our respects to Indigenous and Native elders, past and present.
Equity Acknowledgement: We acknowledge that racial justice, equity, and climate justice are inextricably intertwined, and that poor, vulnerable, and primarily Black, Indigenous, and People of Color disproportionately bear the burden of impacts and environmental injustice, due to the lingering effects of systemic, discriminatory practices.
We commit to doing our part to ensure that, when taking any action to address climate change and create a regenerative future, we will respect, promote, and consider our respective obligations concerning all aspects of equity and strive to create systems in which everyone can thrive.
