TOMORROW: Discover Denver to kick off citywide building survey with demonstration in Golden Triangle. First-ever project of its kind in Denver will study city’s buildings, help unearth Denver history!
TOMORROW, Friday, February 6, at 3:30 p.m., Discover Denver staff and volunteers will actively survey buildings along several blocks in the Golden Triangle neighborhood, using new tablets and software to look for and catalogue indications of historical or architectural significance.
The demonstration will mark the official start to Discover Denver, an effort led by Historic Denver and the city’s Landmark Preservation staff to collect and share information on every building in the city of Denver. The Friday event is being done in conjunction with Colorado Preservation Inc.’s 2015 Saving Places conference.
WHAT: Discover Denver citywide building survey launch and demonstration of survey techniques and data-gathering mobile technology. Interviews and b-roll opportunities available.

WHEN: Friday, February 6, 3:30 p.m.
WHERE: Survey will occur on Delaware Street, between 11th and 13th avenues, in the Golden Triangle neighborhood. Media should meet at the corner of Delaware and 12th.
