An empty Denver high school parking lot was transformed into a scene of super heroes and their tools for the third annual Public Safety Expo Saturday, September 13, at South High School.

The Denver Police collaborated with the Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation (INC) to present the Third Annual Safety Expo because they want Denver’s neighborhoods to have a greater understanding and knowledge of each safety organization and the services they provide.

Expo exhibitors included the Denver Bomb Squad (with their robot), Mobile Command Post, the Bicycle, Mounted, and Motorcycle Police Patrols, vintage police cars, new state of the art patrol cars,  The Community Outreach team from the Sheriff’s department;  a Bicycle Village provided a hands on riding course complete with signage to teach kids safe and responsible cycling skills.
