Denver Sister Cities International Event
We are pleased to announce Denver’s multicultural event of the year is coming soon on Saturday, September 21st from 6-9 pm at RedLine, Denver. The event will feature all 10 of Denver’s sister cities through cultural displays, music and dance performances.
Tamara Banks, will host and emcee the activities for the evening and special guest, Mayor Michael B. Hancock will be providing the key note presentation. The event will include a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony, Chinese Lion Dance, French, Kenyan, Japanese and Israeli musicians and dance displays from India, Mexico and East Africa. The event will be a true “fair” style event featuring displays from Iceland, China, Mongolia, Japan and more!
Denver Sister Cities International is a vibrant and growing organization that believes in bringing together local citizens, businesses and municipal governments to create a global community. Featuring 10 Sister Cities and 1 Friendship city, around the world, Denver Sister Cities International is a network of people—diverse global ambassadors—interwoven with common thoughts, ideas and the notion of active participation. The organization bridges four continents, eleven municipal governments, at least fifteen languages, and nearly twenty million city dwellers.
Denver Sister Cities International’s mission is to promote peace through mutual respect, understanding and cooperation with cultural, educational, and economic endeavors.
The Fall Fair: Sparking Global Conversation, will bring global cultures to Denver through the displays and performances of our sister cities.
