First Friday Art Walks
Weather is good and First Friday is June 1. Denver’s vibrant, year-round creative community event is on the first Friday of each month in the Mile High City’s neighborhood art districts. Galleries, studios and cultural attractions stay open late for a mind-expanding night of art, food, drink and fun. Here’s a sampling. Most open at 4pm and end around 8pm or 9pm. • Gaylord Street Galleries- 1000 Block of S. Gaylord Street between Mississippi St. & Tennessee St.
• Golden Triangle Museum District – Bordered by Lincoln, Speer, and Colfax at 13th Avenue
• Navajo Street Art District – Navajo between 35th Ave and 37th Ave
• Old South Pearl Street – S. Pearl Street between Buchtel Blvd. & Evans Ave
• River North Art District (RiNo) – Bounded by I-70, I-25, Park Avenue West and Arapahoe St
• Tennyson Street Cultural District – Tennyson between 38th Ave. & 44th Ave
