Below are thank you letters from the nonprofit organizations that received funding from the Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation this year, 2021.

1) Thanks to INC’s generosity and support we were able to expand the Safe Outdoor Spaces model as we launched our new Safe Outdoor Space at Regis University on June 1, 2020. The site features 56 individualized shelters, shade tents, food and service delivery tents, and a staff office where staff works around the clock providing resources and site management to residents coming from unsheltered homelessness. INC’s donation helped us cover costs related to the start-up of this site, including lumber, electrical, and purchasing new tents. Thank you!

2) Community Outreach funds provided by INC and their donors were used to directly provide nutrition assistance in the Park Hill area. In 2020 alone our food programs collectively provided nearly 35,000 meals to approximately 2,500 individuals. None of this is possible without a lot of community support.

3)Thank you for your generous donation of $1000 to Bienvenidos Food Bank from your community fund. We are one of the few food programs in Denver to continue operating as a choice-style pantry. By shifting to a “farmers market” style food distribution (instead of boxing food for drive up) families could still shop for what they needed, while having a safe, socially distanced experience. We are also committed to providing fresh fruits and vegetables every week regardless of the time of the year or availability of donated food. We will use the donation from INC to purchase fresh, Colorado grown produce for our clients. We are so grateful for your support through it all.
