6:10 Report on Current status of City Budget re Libraries — Gil Gonzales

6:20 Proposals for fiscal year 2013: Discussion of what we know at this date about cuts.

a) Suggestions for cuts by DPL in 2011 – White Paper – review old suggestions

b) suggestions for cuts by DPL in 2012 if available

c) Should INC consider response to the Mayor’s request for budget cuts on libraries? Pros and cons.

6:30 Methods of providing sufficient financing for DPL in the future:

a) Set out alternatives for keeping public library system and public libraries functioning

b) Development of guiding principles for evaluating alternatives

c) planning a forum or future meeting to evaluate alternatives
