Do you wish you had the resources to protect and celebrate the historic places in your neighborhood? Historic Denver’s Action Fund can help! This year Historic Denver will be accepting applications for the first round on April 1^st, and we need your help to get the word out. You are receiving this email because you are listed as the main contact for your RNO.

The Action Fund is designed to catalyze innovative neighborhood and community projects that enhance Denver’s authentic character and honors cultural heritage as reflected in the built environment. Through the Action Fund, Historic Denver selects one to three community or neighborhood projects each round.  Projects will receive technical assistance, staff support and direct financial investment from Historic Denver, ranging from $2,500 to $10,000. Projects are selected through a competitive application process, now open on April 1, 2018, June 1, 2018 and September 1, 2018. Neighborhood organizations, non-profits or other civic associations are eligible to apply.

How do you apply? The first round of 2018 Action Fund applications are due by 5 pm on April 1, 2018.  More information and the Application itself is available at: https://historicdenver.org/resources/for-neighborhoods/#actionfund.  Applications can also be e-mailed to sschaefer@historicdenver.org, mailed or delivered to 1420 Ogden Street, Suite 202, Denver, CO 80218.  If you can please let groups know about this program through your RNO meetings, or within your community groups, that would be extremely helpful.
