Committee Purpose:

The Newsletter & eNews Team resides under the Communications Committee.  Its purpose is to disseminate pertinent news to INC members and supporters via  various media vehicles and to gain press coverage for the INC organization as is appropriate.

The Communications Committee  publishes INC Connection, the official monthly  newsletter of Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation.  The newsletter is sent to member subscribers via email.  In order to ‘go green’, USPS delivery is available only upon request to the president and delegates of member Registered Neighborhood Organizations.

Monthly Newsletter focus: Executive Committee & Delegate meeting recaps,  INC committee minutes and activities, INC activities and charity work, neighborhood success stories and general information from  City agencies.

In addition to a published newsletter, INC also sends out weekly Community News via email and is available to anyone who requests to be on that list.  The weekly eNews represents a compilation of Denver community news related City activities, City agency meeting announcement and other pertinent information related to the Denver community.  Currently, those emails originate from communication@denverinc.org.  If you wish to subscribe or submit community news please advise that email address.

If you wish to submit an article for INC Connection, our monthly publication, please use the email address below

Submission Guidelines: Submissions are due no later than the 24th of every month

Other Guidelines
-INC does not generally accept “letters to the editor”
-Individuals are welcome to present an issue of concern and propose a plan of action.  We ask that this be accompanied by an opposing point of view and plan of action if such can be had, as INC prefers to publish articles expressing points of view only when fair balance reporting can be made.
-Articles that address issues of common, citywide interest
-Neighborhood success stories (photos welcome)
-INC does not publish events that require fees without express Board approval

Newsletters & Enews-Merged to Communications — 2 Comments

  1. Hello,
My name is Josh Ellsworth and I am a staff member at the High Line Canal Conservancy. We have been leading an outreach and visioning initiative for the High Line Canal Corridor which goes through many Denver neighborhoods. We will be holding public meetings on October 19th and 20th and are seeking your assistance with helping us publicize our events. Would you be willing to post the events on your calendar and/or send out a flyer to your partner RNOs/organizations?

    Thank you,
    Josh
