Mission Statement

The mission of the Communications Committee is to disseminate pertinent information/news to INC members and supporters in a timely manner and to help maintain a professional public image in terms of INC’s brand use and public statements in public and social media.

Committee Purpose
This committee is responsible for:
-Updating & maintaining the website and social media
-Posting and/or sending out timely community news
-Maintaining the organization image in terms of printed materials
-Developing media relations

    The Citizens’ Academy develops community leaders who are poised to advocate for everyday transit and the valuable lifestyle it creates for residents in our metro region. Academy graduates are equipped to provide relevant and timely information to help policy makers, business leaders, and the general public make informed decisions about transportation choices and transportation infrastructure investments in our region.

    Participants selected for the Academy will be provided scholarships from supporting organizations and/or Transit Alliance.
